What people ask before booking
Do I need to know how to dive?
No. No certification, no particular fitness. A mask, a snorkel, and ten minutes to get the hang of it on the spot. It can be held one-handed if you need to.
How deep does it go, and for how long?
Down to forty metres, with an hour of runtime, at 2 m/s flat out. Those are Sublue's published figures for the Navbow. Snorkelling, you will stay well inside those limits.
How many people per unit?
One at a time. Two of you means two units — the rate is per unit, whatever the duration.
Do I have to pay up front?
No. No deposit and no online payment: we confirm availability on WhatsApp and you settle on site. A security deposit is taken when you collect the gear, and you are told the amount beforehand.
Can I take it on a boat?
That is the most common use. The carry bag goes anywhere, and the batteries supplied cover a full day out — Ang Thong included.
What about taking one on a plane?
Lithium batteries fall under your airline's rules, which differ from one carrier to the next. If you buy a unit, check with them before you fly: we give you the exact battery specifications for your enquiry.
Can I film with it?
The action-camera mount is built into the unit. The camera itself is not included in the rental — bring your own.
Where do I collect it?
At the shop, inside the grounds of Keya Hotel Samui. We can also bring it to you elsewhere on the island for 500 THB — free if you are staying at the hotel or in a Keya villa.
